Montgomery with Josh...

So, I decided to go to Montgomery with Josh to watch his #1 tennis player (Harris Barnard) play in the state championship game...one last trip before the baby comes. My mom, sister Elyse, and b-in-law Brian all met up with us. Mom wanted to see me huge since I was 37+ weeks pregnant. After the match (which Harris won) we ate at Jim & Nicks and got one last picture that I wanted to share of the three of us! I'm sure she is beside herself with two little grandbabies coming!!

Work Baby Shower!!

OMG!! My work threw me the best shower ever! Melanie Holland, Rhonda Karabin and Tuan Blank from my work hosted the shower and it was absolutely awesome! I've been working at Jackson Thornton for close to 6 years. I started right after college in June of 2003 in Montgomery then transferred to the Dothan office January 2005. It's been a wonderful 4 years in the Dothan Office and I've grown really close to the people there. I can't imagine working anywhere else. They were SO sweet to throw me this shower, it was at Tuan's house and most everyone got to come. I got some great items for the new baby, a lot of necessities!! I can't wait to go through everything again and put everything in it's place. The big items I got was the crib mattress from D, Brandy, Leslie and Traci and the travel system (car seat & stroller) from the partners at work (Denese, Robin, Suzanne & Tommy). I also got a lot of bottles, sheets, toys, clothes, diapers, wipes, etc.!! I'm so excited now that I feel a little more prepared! Here are some pics to share of the shower:

Ava Grace's birthday!!

Alicia had an early appointment today (Saturday) and has been on 'bed rest' for the past couple of days due to high blood pressure. So, when they went in this morning her blood pressure was still a little too high for her doc's liking, so he said it's time for Ava to come! Alicia was only 1 cm diliated when she was admitted into the hospital so we thought she was going to have a very long day. We were patiently waiting for updates all day! Finally, I say finally but it really didn't take that long, Alicia had Ava Grace that afternoon, she was 7 lbs 3 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. She looks just like Jordan to me! Now our group has three babies, Luke Chavers, Canon Moss and Ava Yates! My turn!!
