WODing For Orphans

So CCC held a fundraiser for a local Foundation called Forever Families Foundation.  This Foundation raises money for families wanting to adopt but can't afford it.  The fundraiser went VERY well but wanted to brag on our little man. 

There was a fun run first and Colt participated.  Colt placed 3rd in his age group and ran a mile in 9:30!  We were so proud of him.  Josh ran with him and he said Colt was talking the whole time.  When they got close to the finish line, he was saying "almost there, don't give up, let's go faster."  Love it!

Colt's First Day of Kindergarten

Can't believe this is happening! But it is!  On the way to school I quizzed Colt...so here we go:

I asked another parent to take our picture and Colt and Addie went a little crazy.  Guess he's not too worried about his first day.

Kindergarten Orientation

We are almost ready to start!  Colt got to see his classroom and meet his teacher.  He's so excited!

 Then we met Nana and had lunch at Smokey Joe's.

 Picked up Addie later and went to get yogurt.  Addie didn't eat any...just played with her gummy frog.

 Okay maybe she had one bite.

Annual Trip to the Corbitts

Fun fun!  Colt, Addie and I took a weekend trip to the Corbitts to play!  We had no plans but always busy!  Colt and Troy play so well together and Addie adores Justin.

Fairwell to the Moss Family

We just found out that the Moss's are moving to MS in about a month.  So I took a lot of pictures of Addie and Tera together and tried to get some of Canon and Colt...they are just too fast and don't care!  It's very sad to us that they are leaving.  They've been our best friends for a while.  We've had kids together, been neighbors and have spent lots of time together.  If you watch, Greys Anatomy, they would be called "our people."

 Last lunch while they were here.  We would do this all the time!
