We haven't been to KK's in a while so we decided to head on up Memorial Day Weekend. KK can get pretty cheapo tickets to the Biscuits games from work so we went there Friday night and afterwards enjoyed some really good fireworks. The kids were pretty good considering...well...how boring basbeball can be!
Saturday we headed to The Montgomery Zoo! We went in the morning and headed back home around lunch.
Poor duck
Favorite part! The train ride.
The baby giraffe was only days old.
Sunday we headed to Marion to see Mamama, the kids were NUTSO! I was really fed up with them but it was STORMING outside and I really didn't feel like I could bring my whip out in the nursing home in front of everyone. Geez...but the ride home was peaceful...ugh...
That night Papa John came home thank goodness! They love him to death and really are different children around them...as in different, I mean really good/well behaved. We roasted marshmallows and had a great time.
Would have been nice if this actually happened buuuuuuut it didn't. When the kids realized that I was going upstairs to sleep ALL the kids went upstairs. Poor Ryder ended up sleeping on the floor right outside my room:(
We left Monday...back to reality, but fun weekend!

Park Life
We just love living on the park! There's so much freedom, it's like having a huge front yard you don't have to maintain and there is usually always someone out there to play with or talk to! We've made some pretty good friends living here too. We started a GP supper club (I'm sure I'll post about that sometime) and our kids play so well together. It's one of those neighborhoods you see on TV where your friend next door comes to borrow an egg or a cup of sugar or you sit with your friends on the porch gossiping (noooo!) and drinking coffee or drinking something else...mmmm. You can step right outside and have a picnic in the shade. You just can't beat it!

Highland's Graduation - Colt
A whole year of "real" school completed! I think I got a little teary eyed a couple of times, but we are sending Colt to Kindergarten again next year, so I kinda had that in the back of my mind:) Highlands outdid themselves...the theme was Great Adventure and the decorations and program was SO cute! Love this school!
Addie HAD to have her picture taken!
Colt was on the first row (again) so he was hard to see.
There he goes!
Adorable...cap is completely sideways
His teacher Mrs. Kinney
