Walking to School
Charlie has decided he wants to walk to class just like his big sister. He starts pushing away from me as soon as I get him out of the car. This is so bizarre to me...this was not a question or want from Colt nor Addie. But this one loves it! And Addie does too. She likes to guide him by pushing his head. I have to tell her to stop a lot. Poor kid.
So sweet...holding that tag of course.

Park Fun
It's starting to feel so good outside so we got out and I of course took some sweet shots of the kids.
Look at that little half grin.

Making a pallet
I remember these times when I was little, there's something about making a pallet on the floor...and it can be anywhere! When we spent the night at our Mamama's house, we would always make one in the hallway right outside the living room. Now that I'm older it wasn't because we thought it was fun, it was because there was nowhere else for us to stay BUT on the floor. It was a win win. I'm sure our kids get way more pillows than we got as kids, not to mention the iPad Colt is holding! I love seeing all three hang out and get along like this.

Best present
Nana doesn't dissappoint when it comes to presents. She got Charlie a HUGE teddy bear and he LOVES it! Look at that sweetness!
Charlie's Valentine's Party
It will be Charlie's turn one day, but I couldn't fit in his party. It overlapped with Colt's but his teacher sent me a pic of him chowing down on some icing. Yum!
Colt's Valentine's Party
Take two! Glad I could make Colt's party too. Got to go when they actually want me to come. One day they will be embarrassed so for now, I'll try my best! Colt and I worked on this sweet Valentine's box. It was a hit with the other kids except they kept trying to take the beads off. Do they NOT know that I'm a saver?? yep, this sweet thing went in the attic to hopefully use again! But we were so proud of it!
There were some really cute and creative boxes! Love seeing them. Of course you can tell who's Mama's helped and who didn't, but if your like me and love crafts, you just can't help it!
Look at that sweet cute face!
Ready to go home early:)
Valentine's Day Morning
You know I've always thought valentine's day was just a money maker, but this is the one recognized day you do something for your loved ones that is actually from Mommy and Daddy...so this year, I ended up writing a note on a heart to each child telling how proud we are of specific things and what we love about each one. They loved reading (or listening) them. I reused these cute little bags I got from Dollar General last year!
Weird how easy the kids got up today...
Nothing better than a chocolate dog.
Our sweet Valentines!

The Big Park
The kids love the thought of going to the "big" park, but really once they are there they are "over it" within 10 minutes. That's why I didn't mind bringing all these kids...I knew it wouldn't last long. They rode their bikes too! Well everyone but Maggie Kate and Charlie...even Addie kept up with the boys on her bike.

Basketball
Colt and Addie both played basketball for the first time this year. Not quite sure how many times Josh said "what were you thinking?" when I told him Addie was playing AND while Addie was playing. It was a little funny. I'm pretty sure she looked at me more than she actually looked at the basketball. She was there and always had a good attitude. Most of the time "our" goal was for her to at least touch the ball once a game. One game we got a little crazy and the goal was to bounce it. It happened too! She bounced it twice and then it was taken away from her. Oh well, she met her goal...then off to staring at me for the rest of the game while the coach was yelling at her to go to the other end of the court. She was really good at standing in her zone spot. Not moving...she was a warm body, but she had fun!
Oh and she never came close to even touching the rim with the basketball.
Now Colt loved the game! He was so aggressive. Probably the most aggressive I've seen him in any sport. First game, he got the ball, drove down the court and made the very first shot of the season. He didn't score any after that but it was a fun moment:) He got to play with a few soccer buddies of his which made it mroe fun. He loved this sport and will continue to get better!
He was very quick on his feet and a great defensive player.
Such a little cutie!
