News update...

Colt is FULLY potty trained!  Whew, thanks to Nana praying to Jesus with Colt and Mrs. C at school being very firm and consistent with him.  We did it!!! Okay, THEY did it.  I didn't want to get my hands dirty...literally.  Gross!

Jesus, please help Colt go Poo Poo in the potty!!  He can do anything:)

SOOOO we promised Colt 2 things when he finally decided to "go" #2 in the potty:)

1. There's been a HUGE sucker waiting for him in the pantry and

2. Sleeping with Mommy and Daddy!!

We followed through with BOTH promises and he was pretty pumped...

Worn Slap out....literally

This was from this past October, but I was going through some pictures and HAD to add this...once again...Colt is not going to be happy.one.day:)

We went to the Peanut Festival last fall (the big fair in Dothan) and stayed out a little too late.  One the way home, Colt fell asleep in the car.  Josh brought him in and partly changed his clothes and diaper.  He was completely and utterly worn out!

First he laid him down...still asleep

Then took off his pants...still asleep

Change the diaper...still asleep

Took off his jacket and put on some pants....still asleep

Changed SHIRTS....STILL asleep!
Poor baby:)  I love how Josh put a pillow under his head...hahaha!

One Sunday Lunch

We all got a kick out of the boys on this Sunday.  The Moss's, Cox's and us went to La Parilla to eat after church.  Canon and Colt have a love/hate relationship...sometimes they're on and sometimes their off...very off.  This particular day they were very ON!  Not sure who decided they were going to sit together...well, actually I think they did.  Here are some pictures of them during lunch...our sides hurt after laughing at them so much.

Taking a stroll

I didn't think I would be able to use this double stroller.  We have had it since Colt was itty bitty.  One of Josh's friends gave it to us and her mom got it at a yard sale for $25!  It's a very nice stroller and is so light even with two kids.  Both kids love this thing.  Not sure if we would make a long run but we did make it to the playground down the street and around the neighborhood.

Ryder turns 1!

Amazing, my little sister's, Rebecca, boy, Ryder turned one!  We had a little sock monkey party to celebrate...

I love this picture!

Party favors.  All the crafts were made by the cricut:)  We (I) had a fun time with this party.

Ryder's "1" sign...didn't get a picture of the final but this will do.

Cupcakes with topers.

Party hat...Elyse and I made this with the cricut.  It's so cute!

We made the smash cake too and added banana runts:)

Jon Jon made by KK...we are so lucky to have her because she makes the cutest stuff!

The food table

Cake time!  Thumbs up..haha!

Rebecca found out he had RSV on Monday:(

Troy was a BIG fan of the cream cheese ball.

Happy Birthday Ryder!!

Addie's First Time in the Swing

AND she loved it!!  I just stuffed a blanket around her so she wouldn't flop around.

Goodbye diapers/pull-ups....hello potty!

Colt is officially half way potty trained! He's half way because be hasn't over come the 'fear' of going #2 in the potty yet but he has nailed down t-t'ing in the potty. It was actually so easy! His teachers did most of the work and we finally gave in and started working with him at home. At first I would hear about how great he was doing at school but as soon as we get home he didn't want to go for us. But all of a sudden something clicked (probably was tired of getting wet) he started going for us after we asked him and now he tells us when he needs to go! Yaya! It was definitely much easier waiting until he was ready. His teacher said he will 'hold it' longer than any other child and when he goes...he goes and goes and goes! At school each classroom has a little bathroom with a miniature working toilet (it's so cute). Colt will stand up and go there. It's hilarious watching him. He will lean his legs against the potty, ach his back as far as he can (so the stream will make it to the water)and put his hands behind his back (ha!). Can't get those hands dirty! At home he sits. He won't stand, not sure why? He will also hold it all night...80% of the time he will be dry in the morning:)

We are so proud of our big boy!  He's going to LOVE me for this!

One time I didn't give Colt a prize for going and sure enouph he remembered later.  I tried to push it off.  I was trying to hug and kiss him and he said "no, don't love me.  I will love on you after you get me prize"  Clever.
