Charlie's First Week at Home

Here we go!  Our first week at home was pretty good with little Charlie.  We love Charlie Bear!  KK stayed with us the whole week from Friday when we got home to Saturday morning.  She cooked, cleaned, picked up/took the kids to school and was able to calm Charlie down when I just couldn't.  Thank you KK!

We had several visitors which was fun to show Charlie off because I think he is SO cute!  Leah Arkle came when we got home to bring us supper...super yummy and sweet!  Then Papa John came to see us the next night and got us Olive Garden!

I was dreading the first night at home with Charlie...history shows it hasn't gone well.  Well, Charlie surprised me!  I fed him around 9:30pm and he went right to sleep.  I ended up WAKING him up at 1:00am, went back to sleep at 2am and woke up at 5:15am and BACK to sleep at 6am THEN woke up at 9:00AM!  Whoop whoop!  I didn't get too excited though...I know it won't always be that good and it's going to be a while before he sleeps through the night.

This was after Addie and Colt got home from school on Monday....they rushed to see him and love on him.

Elyse came to visit us on Tuesday!  With Graham and Blaine.

Can't wait to see him!

So far he's a pretty good baby...he has had his moments but all babies do.
