The Maddox Farm Day is so cool to me! This family is so generous and really loves giving and teaching. It's a family of doctors/farmers who dedicate a whole day to show the public their property, bringing in live animals, food, blow ups for the kids, teachings on how things were made (like syrup, corn meal), showing how they used to plow land with just a horse and plow, giving wagon rides by Clydesdales....it is awesome! They even have a huge saw that cuts wood and they have built (or it's in the making) a true log cabin. Can't wait to see what it looks like next year. I will always try to go. The only thing they charge is for the food and it's GOOD! Here are some huge turtles they brought in. So neat.
This is in front of the log cabin they are building.
Colt had to go to practice, so Addie, Charlie and I enjoyed the day a little longer.
And face painting! It's an awesome family event!
