Rookie Baseball All-Stars

This All-Star baseball thing is so new to me!  We were so excited that Colt made the team!  We didn't realize how much is involved though.  I have to say it was such a fun experience and I'm glad we did it.  So apparently this is the first year there was a rookie all-stars tournament.  State tournament was held in Tuscaloosa, double elimination style.  Since there wasn't any other rookie teams to play in regionals, we were going "straight to state baby!"  Pretty exciting!  So here goes the whole family plus Nana and Pops to Tuscaloosa.  Thankfully, Pops' sister (Aunt Becky) lives there so we had a place to stay AND she cooked for us!  She made us the best breakfast!  

Here we are opening ceremonies.  It was HOT and sooooo many kids!

 We had time to kill so we snuck in the indoor football facilities at Alabama.  I'm no fan, but I guess it was pretty cool.

 First game was a win!  We had NO idea how we were going to play because we haven't play anyone yet.

 And Mamama and Uncle Kenny came.  So sweet seeing them!  Colt gave her the BIGGEST hug!

 Day 2 was a loss also.  But this truly was a fun experience and I would love for Colt to get to do it again...we shall see!

 This time Ayla came to see us!

 Harrison and Colt
