We've been talking about a Braves game for several years and we decided to make it happen this year. Luckily we had a connection that got us really great seats for nothing! I mean, nothing...zero dollars. Yay! So off we go to Atlanta. The kids were super excited and thankfully Josh's parents could keep Charlie. It was going to be a fast paced weekend and much easier without him. Plus he wouldn't remember it anyway:)
At the hotel. The kids love a hotel and we had a great view of Atlanta. The game was Friday night, but we decided to walk around and get some Braves gear before we headed to the new stadium.
Walking around centennial park.
And to the CNN building.
Everything is BIG.
The Mercedes Benz stadium.
Off to the game...this place is SO cool! We have to go back. There wasn't enough time to take it all in.
So I actually didn't get a shirt...this was Josh's that was too tight on him. Score:)
Unfortunately, the Braves lost. The kids cared less but great fireworks!
Saturday we went to the GA aquarium. Bad decision for Josh and I, Addie and Colt didn't care. Aside from the massive crowd, this place is awesome! Wish we had a little more breathing room.
This was by far my favorite part (and Colt and Addie's too). The penguins. You crawled through a tunnel to be up and close with them and they were playing or chasing Colt's hand. Too cute!
Next up before we left, was the College Football Hall of Fame. Pretty interesting place. Look at ALL those helmets!
Hahah!
We had a great time, just the 4 of us. Now home to see Charlie man.
