Big Crib, Little Baby

And that's that...you have graduated to your crib!

Charlie is ONE Month!

Well here we are, one month!  From now on, I'm sure these monthly pictures were get here faster and faster!  Charlie is a little handful so far:)  He does sleep a lot, but if he's not asleep he's really not that happy.  I'm hoping it's just a phase...I know it will be!! 

Stats:

Weight - 9.6 pounds
Height - 22"
Sleeping - goes to bed around 9:00 pm (I can't keep him up any longer), wakes up around 1 am and 4/5 am.  Not too bad for a one month old.  And when he wakes up, he eats and goes right back to sleep!
Diaper - Newborn/Size 1
Clothes - 0-3 month

Likes:

The changing table, first half of bath (then he's done!), stroller walks (not too long), sleeping with mommy, swinging (sometimes), eating, sleeping during the day, LOVES the fan, and LOVES stretching.

Dislikes:

Being left alone and awake, second half of bath, bedtime...boy do I have to work...I know why they call if "witching" hour, it's tough.  Lots of crying and there's nothing I can really do.  I have found that going outside helps, running the faucet water, holding him upside down (face down) and holding him with one hand under his head and one under his hiney and bouncing, bouncing, bouncing...I've even gone as far and jumping (I'm careful!).  I've been very patient only because I know this doesn't last forever.

Addie's Birthday Party

To say that this girl was excited is an understatement.  We rented a water slide and invited only 5/6 of her close friends (mostly neighborhood friends) and made it as simple (and fun for her) as possible.  When these guys showed up to put HER water slide up, she couldn't contain herself.  She watch them the entire time, and asked them tons of questions.  She meets no stranger.

She even helped me carry stuff out to the picnic tables.  SO sweet and helpful!  I didn't even ask.

We had pink goldfish, applesauce pouches and cake...that's it!

I got lucky and Charlie slept through the ENTIRE party AND someone held him the whole time...nice!

This girl is so funny...I didn't have a lighter so I told her to pretend like she was blowing out her candle...not a care in the world and just did it.  Ha!

After the party Ryder, Aunt Becca and KK came!  They didn't make the party because Ryder is in a cast and he has to be super careful.  Addie was very excited to see them!

Addie is FOUR

Addie is four...she's been waiting for this day for a long time. Or so she thinks.  I sort of helped her with her outfit (just to make sure it matched) but she mostly picked it out. 

At first she wasn't all about me taking pics of her but then she warmed up. As you can see...
