Getting ready...

Oh Christmas Tree

Last year we (Addie) ended up breaking 4/5 Christmas ornaments. So this year before we opened the box I gave them a pep talk about being very careful and trying not to break any. Well, we (Addie) broke two. Here's to trying again next year.

I asked them to get around the tree so I could take a picture and this is what I got...real life...

Getting ready for a fun season!

Charlie 3 Months

He Boy how time goes by. Finally we are getting somewhere with this kid, he's getting so much easier. I'm able to do more than just hold and console the little fella. He loves his play mat and will lay on it for a good while looking around and cooing. He is now most interested in his hands. It's SO sweet watching him study them and play with them. He has also discovered his feet but he only looks at them. He really hasn't started grabbing items but I think he's close. Head control is getting better. I don't do a lot of tummy time which is my fault but he can lift his head some and turns his head while laying on his tummy easily.  This will all come and I'm planning on working with him more now.  He looooves looking at faces, being talked to and sung to.  It's easy to get a smile out of him and he's given us a little chuckle too!  Oh and he started making bubbles;). He still loves bath time, his changing table and the famous fan!

Weight:  13.6 lbs
Height: around 25"
Eating: probably about 5oz every 3 hours
Clothes: 3 months (onesies are getting tight)
Diapers: size 2

Thanksgiving Festivities at KKs!

Lots of adults, lots of kids, lots of fun!  These kids have the best time together!  The day went by way too fast!

The guy "helped" get all the stuff out of their car...he only mad it to the big bag of cookies and didn't even make it inside before he started eating all the M&M's off each cookie.  His mama was too preoccupied to notice but I did...and I let him continue.  He DESERVES those M&Ms!

I LOVE this picture!

It's scavanger hunt time!  Papa John put a lot of time into it this year...notes and all as they went along. Searching for the big rock!

Colt found the rock!

Now time to re-write and ADD names to the rock.

KK's birthday!  Always celebrated at Thanksgiving.

It was a loooong couple of days!

The night of Thanksgiving we stayed in a hotel in Montgomery!  What?!  Are we crazy, actually I was a little excited about it...mainly because we had an indoor pool!  My mom didn't have enough room for us for the next day festivities and we didn't want to drive all the way home so this is what went down.  Charlie's like...whaaaa??

Off to the pool!

They had fun for just a little while, but the chlorine smell was the point we were all coughing so the pool idea was shot down pretty quick:(

We went to Waffle House to eat that night yummmmm!

Here is Charlie, first night in a hotel.  He did pretty well.  He woke up a couple of times but I don't think we disturbed the others too bad.

They seem to be sleeping well.

Getting ready for another busy day!

Breakfast with the best!

Now we are off to KK and Papa John's to give more Thanks!

Giving Thanks with the Toulmins

We are doing this!!  All packed up and going to my Grandmother's for Thanksgiving...what a feat!

Beautiful weather!  WHY don't we come more often!? AND I snuck a bow on Addie:)

Cute boys!

Silly boys!

We had a big bunch for lunch:)  Kristian and Heath Hardy, Elyse and gang, Rebecca, Dad, Steven, Helen!

Babies of 2015

The older kiddos

The grub and giving thanks!  How could we not be over the moon thankful!!

And the one that's not allowed to have real food yet...substitute a lot of toys instead.

4 months apart...I have a feeling they will always compare to one another.

The famous tree!
